New Amiga cover

New cover, new presentations, and new role

This time, I have some news that has nothing to do with our microscopic friend. Really!

Amiga has a new cover and a great review!

New Amiga cover

You’ll notice that Amiga has a new cover featuring a middle-age Laura and the challenges she wears on her face.

Amiga still has the same great story, which recently got a stellar review on AuthorsReading.com. Carole W writes:

“Stern’s writing is clear, eloquent, and entertaining. He pens a great novel of the technically oriented women and their grit in entering a profession that was almost exclusively male. Stern creates a protagonist who has the wherewithal to handle the personal, social, and technical problems of her era, portraying a woman of astonishing powers.”

And speaking of presentations…

Upcoming presentations

I have a couple of events coming up in the next few weeks. (Times are US Pacific.)

  • Friday, May 29, 2:00 pm: Public Speaking for Writers on Facebook Live.
In a brief online talk, I’ll give advice on the three types of speeches all writers need to give. Bookstores and other venues will be opening soon, so be ready to speak.
  • Thursday, June 4, 6:00–7:00 pm: Drop A Line with Alec Pangia on Instagram Live.
I’ll be talking about writing and other subjects with Alec Pangia, author of The Meridian Trilogy.

And if that doesn’t keep me busy enough…
