National Novel Writing Month 2005

I decided to participate in National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) again in 2005. I fell short of the 50,000-word goal by, oh, about 46,000 words. There were a lot of reasons – I mean, excuses – for this. It at least got my started working on a novel idea that had been germinating for the last 30 years. I still plan to work on it, and I don't have to wait until NaNoWriMo next year to do it.

What About Last Year's Book?

I made good headway on a novel last year, and I exceeded the 50,000-word goal for NaNoWriMo. But when I took a closer look at it, I wasn't sure about the story. It touched on themes that made me uncomfortable.

If you would like to look at my manuscript and give me feedback, please e-mail me and let me know. I'd appreciate your input.
