Melville and Offline at Toastmasters Club

April 17, 2003
What would Herman Melville say about modern American business? Find out
at the April 24 meeting of the Leaders as Readers Toastmasters club in
Anaheim, California. There, I will talk about the observations Melville
made about
corporate life in his story "Bartleby the Scrivener," and how I describe them in my novel Offline.
Leaders as Readers is a new Toastmasters club that meets at the Anaheim
Central Library at Harbor and Broadway. The meeting starts at 7:00 p.m.
Admission is free.
